If you haven’t already guessed it, the swashbuckling sleeves are what helped me to come up with the name. I was thinking of Hollywood movies with Buccaneers when it came to this design. I noticed how the sleeves were always voluminous, no doubt without restriction for sword fights!

Whilst I am not expecting you to wear this for any sword fighting adventures, unless that is your preference, I was drawn to movement for this top. The bodice fabric, sister fabric to the dress named ‘Happiness’, is not a style of fabric or top that you would see every day – and that’s exactly my point. Here, the difference is a talking point. Bland blends in, and we ladies do not do bland! The only one-of-a-kind.

Loving care: Dry clean, or cool handwash. Do not press sleeves or tumble dry.
