Jersey dress.

A double take of a jersey dress therefore I could not resist the astrological name of Gemini sign of the twins.

There’s a lot going on here, the fabric is two layers of self-fabric, a soft cowl neck sets the front neckline gently resting on your shoulders. Long sleeves, a fabric weaved with hints of complementary colours embedded. As you move further down the dress, the empire line has an undulated bobbled surface detail, Gemini glides over the waist and hips for its encore the handkerchief hemline.

However this handkerchief hemline has a surface bobbled presence, an embellishment technique I picked up from making the green silk velvet bias cut dress Midsummer Dream.

This bobble surface detail creates a gathering of the fabric which in turn produces a diamante effect. There is so much movement with this dress the handkerchief hemline is only on one side however the surface detail is on both sides of the dress.

It’s a dress of more, and more to see, all tastefully showcased as a dress of artistic fabric detailing, which speaks to the wearer and her impeccable taste as to how she wants to show up and be seen. The only one-of-a-kind.
