Tie Neck Kimono Top – The Executive

The Executive confident, modern that's how I see you wearing this tie neck, sharp, dressy top who also happens to be the sister to 'The Director' a silver and grey ribbon pinstriped top (I know the names are out there, but I believe in standing tall and embracing the name)!

I have made myself a couple of these Kimono styled sleeved tops, I love their detailed structure and comfort because of the gusset under the arm, which means when you raise your arms the top stays in place as opposed to the whole top being raised. The tie-neck can either be worn in a short bow or pulled through and left to stand proud.

I sourced this beautiful blue pure wool fabric from a tailoring establishment, like you I was drawn to its colouring the vibrancy of the deep blue with the slightly rectangular shapes woven into the fabric. This top contours to your body it has a springy texture when handled also soft retaining its silhouette.  A fine textured tailored pure wool fabric, cool to wear when warm and warm to wear when cool, so you are always taken care of, the self covered buttons I felt were the only option as a finishing touch to complement the look.
