Paisley Cotton Jersey – Paisley and Lace

I’ve worked with the monochrome paisley fabric previously on a dress named ‘Paisley’, it’s a beautiful fabric, soft to the touch, gently caressing your skin. I like the word synergy, it speaks of co-operation, all things working together in harmony from the design element to you wearing her, this top aptly named Paisley and Lace.

I was thinking of necklines that flatter your face and shoulder area, this is how the boat neckline came to be, the shape  taking its name from the bottom of a boat, the lace detail here is rolled, it stands proud against your décolleté. Fine lace inserts front and back their burnt-out patterning picks up on the print of the Paisley, this top has attitude.

It all comes back to synergy a black and white paisley top with lace inserts working in harmony, worn with panache!
