Crinkle Velvet Top – Cerise

Crinkle Velvet - named Cerise is the sister-top to CatWoman they share similar traits in terms of kimono-style sleeves, however there are distinct differences. Let's start with the vibrant cerise colour it is gorgeous, the crinkle velvet has a beautiful sheen illuminating its jewel colour.

In this style version I want to talk to you about the subtle differences. Cerise is a colour that lights up your face and softens at the same time. I feel the textured fabric plays a huge part in this formation of what appears to be gentle waves. Whilst the pile of the fabric has depth, it is not heavy; it is soft against the skin (comfort is always at the forefront of my mind as much as quality).

Special detail continues with tiny peaks/picot edging at the hem edge of the sleeve, a symbol of an intimate personal touch, from couturier to wearer, handmade and precious.

Cerise replaces the need to wear a jacket as the fabric provides warmth, which is ideal for outside dining, and evening strolls.
